TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms are between you and the following natural persons, who currently operate the Service using the project and operating name “IronClad Tournaments”:

• Marco Stucchi, based in New South Wales, Australia; and
• Simone Vitiello, based in Italy.

In these Terms, “IronClad”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Marco Stucchi and Simone Vitiello only, as the current operators of the project. An “Admin” is delegated operational personnel authorized to perform specified administration or support functions. Admins are not included in “IronClad”, “we”, “us” or “our”, are not parties to these Terms merely because of that role, and do not become operators by exercising delegated authority.

“IronClad Tournaments” is used here as a project and operating name. These Terms do not represent it as a company, incorporated body, registered Australian business name, Australian partnership, ABN holder or other registered entity.

Support, complaints, privacy enquiries and legal notices may be sent to ironclad.tournaments@gmail.com.

These Terms govern access to and use of the IronClad website, accounts, profiles, tournament registration and administration, brackets, Matches, rankings, Polls, notifications, support and related services collectively called the Service.

They apply to visitors, account holders and Players. Additional obligations apply when a person registers for or participates in an Event.

The public website may be viewed without creating a Tournament acceptance record. Browsing alone is not evidence that a person accepted an Event or a new version of the Governing Documents. Features that require acceptance may be used only after the required active acceptance process is completed.

In these Terms:

Applicable non-excludable law applies first.

Subject to that law:

1. these Terms govern use of the platform;
2. the Player Participation Agreement governs participation obligations;
3. the Rulebook governs competition mechanics;
4. the Privacy Policy governs personal-information handling; and
5. Event Prize Terms govern the prize offered for a specific Event.

A Tournament Page, Event supplement, approved map pool or Published Decision may supplement those documents only within its stated scope.

FAQs, summaries, tooltips, informal messages, Poll discussions and external pages do not silently amend the Governing Documents. Battlefy is not a current registration or result authority.

A Player must:

• be at least 18 years old when registering;
• use their own IronClad and Steam accounts;
• possess lawful access to Company of Heroes 3;
• provide accurate and current information;
• meet the published Division and Event requirements;
• participate only where doing so is lawful and operationally supported; and
• complete the declarations and document acceptances presented at registration.

IronClad does not ordinarily require identity documents for free participation. Proportionate evidence may be requested where reasonably necessary to address a genuine age, identity, account-ownership, integrity, sanctions, prize-provider or legal concern.

Any supporting material must be limited to what is necessary and handled under the Privacy Policy.

Accounts are personal. A user must not sell, transfer, share or lend an Account, impersonate another person or permit another person to compete through it.

Users must take reasonable care of their email, Clerk, IronClad, Steam and any payout-provider credentials and promptly report suspected compromise.

IronClad staff will not ask for a password, authentication code, recovery code, payment-account password or unrestricted access to a device or financial account.

An Account does not guarantee Tournament approval, an Event place, a particular Division, a ranking, continued Service availability or a prize.

Eligibility may require a Player to link and control their own Steam account.

IronClad uses Steam OpenID to confirm control of the linked Steam identity. It may use the verified SteamID64 to request supported public persona information from Valve/Steam and current Company of Heroes 3 competitive information from Relic.

At registration, IronClad performs a fresh Relic verification and stores the resulting supported 1v1 ELO, faction, Division, calculation version and verification time as an immutable Event snapshot.

IronClad does not request the Player's Steam password and does not acquire ownership of the Steam account.

Active verification does not use COH3Stats. Historical records may retain a legacy source label, but no current registration or profile-verification request is sent to COH3Stats.

Valve and Relic availability, response times and source-data accuracy remain outside IronClad's direct control. A Player may request review of a suspected verification error.

Profile information must be accurate and must not impersonate another person or infringe another person's rights.

Discord is optional but recommended. A Discord username is not required for profile completion or registration. Supplying a Discord username and making it publicly visible are separate choices. Clearing the username disables its public visibility.

Players must monitor IronClad notifications. Steam may be used outside the Service where reasonably available. A Match participant may use IronClad's participant-scoped Admin Assistance route where coordination through optional channels is unavailable or unsuccessful.

Public-profile visibility is separate from official Competition History. Disabling a public profile or public Discord does not automatically remove factual registrations, brackets, official results, standings or champion records. After account closure, retained history may identify the person as Former Competitor where permitted and necessary.

A user must not:

• cheat, collude, manipulate a result or evade a lawful sanction;
• share accounts, smurf for eligibility or arrange unauthorized substitution;
• submit duplicate or deceptive registrations;
• falsify profiles, votes, results, replay files or evidence;
• tamper with replays, hashes, scores, Polls, brackets or rankings;
• harass, threaten, discriminate against, dox or unlawfully expose another person;
• upload malware or exploit or bypass an authorization boundary;
• scrape or automate access beyond authorized public use;
• infringe copyright, privacy, personality or other legal rights;
• send spam, commit fraud or misuse support channels;
• misuse private Match evidence or personal information; or
• knowingly assist another person to do any of those things.

Good-faith criticism, complaints, appeals, security reports and relevant evidence are not prohibited merely because they are unfavorable to IronClad or another participant.

Registration and participation are free.

Registration does not guarantee approval or capacity. Eligibility, verified Division, available places, waitlist order, Admin review and published Event requirements may affect whether a Player is approved.

A preliminary waitlist acknowledgement does not create a registration or acceptance record. A successful registration creates the registration and its acceptance record atomically.

Players must monitor IronClad notifications, the Tournament Page and displayed deadlines. Players remain responsible for reasonable coordination and timely action.

Competition mechanics - including map pools, Dice, manual Side and Map selection, replay requirements, scheduling, pauses, disconnects, confirmation, disputes, no-shows, scoring, rankings and Poll effects - are governed by the Rulebook and applicable Event materials.

The Rulebook determines the required Match-result workflow. One unique .rec replay file for each Game actually played is the required Match-result proof. Screenshots are not accepted as a substitute for required replay proof. An Admin may request separate proportionate supplemental material for a dispute or integrity investigation.

Replay files, raw proof paths, hashes, disputes, no-show material, private review notes and similar evidence are not general public content. They may be available to the involved Match participants, authorized Admins, necessary providers and persons legally entitled to receive them.

Individual Poll ballot attribution is private. Eligible Players may see aggregate totals according to the Poll's configured live or after-close setting. Anonymous public totals exist only where explicitly enabled. Final Published Decisions may be public. Poll finalization does not automatically modify another subsystem.

Users retain ownership of original User Content they lawfully own and must have the rights needed to submit it.

To the extent of those rights, the user grants IronClad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, technically transform, transmit, review and process User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide and secure the Service;
• honor selected visibility settings;
• administer Events;
• verify competitive integrity;
• confirm results and resolve disputes;
• communicate with authorized people;
• maintain lawful Competition History;
• enforce the Governing Documents; and
• comply with legal obligations.

This operational licence does not authorize IronClad to sell private evidence, private correspondence or personal information, or to use that material for unrelated advertising.

IronClad may quarantine or restrict content where reasonably necessary for security, privacy, illegality, infringement or a material breach.

Competition-facing media permission is governed by the Player Participation Agreement and any specific Event or broadcast notice.

Subject to those documents and third-party rights, IronClad may use Tournament-public identity, official results, standings, achievements, an enabled public avatar and Player-owned material knowingly contributed to an authorised Event broadcast or Player-authorised Event stream to operate, report, factually archive and promote IronClad Events.

Public or commercial recording, broadcasting, republication or promotion of gameplay or game footage may occur only to the extent separately permitted by the relevant game and platform rights holders and supported by any participant permission required for identity, likeness, voice or Player-owned material.

Voice or webcam material is included only where knowingly captured in an authorised official broadcast or a Player-authorized Event stream used for the Event.

Private replay evidence, private Discord, private email, dispute notes, identity documents and payout information are not promotional content.

A Player's permission cannot grant IronClad intellectual-property rights owned by SEGA, Relic, Valve, Steam, another platform or another person.

The IronClad site, original branding, original written material and original platform assets remain the property of their respective owners.

Company of Heroes 3, SEGA, Relic, Valve, Steam and other third-party names, software, game content and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

IronClad is an independent community Tournament project. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or affiliated with Relic Entertainment, Valve Corporation, Steam or SEGA unless expressly stated. Third-party games, footage, names, logos and marks remain the property of their respective owners. No third-party intellectual-property rights are claimed or granted.

The Service currently depends on:

• Clerk for authentication and account identity;
• Supabase for database and Storage services;
• Vercel for hosting, delivery and, when enabled after a separate opt-in, optional public-site Web Analytics;
• Valve/Steam for Steam authentication and supported public persona information;
• Relic for supported Company of Heroes 3 competitive data;
• Resend when transactional email is enabled; and
• Google/Gmail for the published support, privacy and legal mailbox.

Discord is optional and no IronClad Discord API or bot integration is currently used. A user who follows a Discord link or communicates through Discord deals directly with that external service.

Wise, PayPal or another specifically published provider may be used only for a prize-bearing Event and only as described in the applicable Event Prize Terms and privacy notice.

External providers apply their own terms and privacy practices. IronClad remains responsible for accurately describing the information it sends and for exercising required care in provider selection and use.

IronClad will use reasonable care in operating the Service but does not promise uninterrupted, error-free or universally available access.

Maintenance, security incidents, game updates, network problems and provider outages may affect a feature.

IronClad may make reasonable security, reliability, legal, accessibility or compatibility changes. Such a change must not silently rewrite an accepted document version, completed official result or accrued prize entitlement.

Where an outage affects an Event, recovery must follow the Rulebook, current platform state, published Event commitments and applicable law.

Not every Event offers a prize. No prize is created merely by these Terms or by a public ranking.

A prize exists only if Event Prize Terms are published before prize-bearing registration opens. Those terms must state at least:

• gross amount and currency;
• placement allocation;
• eligibility and any territory restrictions;
• supported payment method;
• fee, conversion and intermediary-cost treatment;
• required verification or payout information;
• expected payment timeframe;
• tie treatment; and
• consequences of cancellation, Void or partial completion.

Payout may be manual. Wise may be preferred where supported. PayPal or another published supported method may be used. IronClad does not promise a universal 48-hour payment period.

Unless another fair method is published before registration, prize allocations crossed by a true tie are combined and divided equally among the tied Players.

Players remain responsible for personal tax obligations, subject to any withholding or reporting IronClad is legally required to perform.

IronClad may take proportionate action for a material breach, competitive-integrity risk, safety concern, fraud, security threat, unlawful conduct or binding publisher/provider restriction.

Available action may include warning, content restriction, temporary hold, correction or replay, Match or bracket remedy, registration rejection or removal, disqualification, suspension or exclusion from future Events.

Urgent interim action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect people, the Service or evidence.

A material decision should identify the basis and provide an available review or reconsideration route unless doing so would create a genuine security, privacy, legal or integrity risk. A routine Match ruling may become final after the Rulebook process is complete.

Internal finality does not remove a non-excludable consumer, privacy, legal or regulatory right.

A user may request account closure through the available profile process or published contact route.

Closure is not a promise that every record will be erased immediately or simultaneously.

The current closure sequence removes the avatar, applies the database closure process and then requests Clerk deletion. Those systems are separate and partial failure is possible.

Where no protected Competition History exists, the player record may be deleted. Where history exists, direct profile identifiers, current Steam/Relic state and optional public fields may be removed while factual history is retained in pseudonymised form.

Private evidence and immutable registration acceptance may remain for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy. Provider, mailbox, log and backup copies may take additional time to expire. IronClad must reconcile a known partial failure and reapply deletion or pseudonymisation after a relevant backup restoration.

Closure does not erase an accrued obligation, active dispute, lawful legal hold or another person's rights.

IronClad may pause, postpone, reschedule, Cancel or Void an Event for a serious technical, security, publisher, legal, integrity or force-majeure reason.

The response must be proportionate and communicated where practicable. Cancellation, Void, hard deletion and account deletion are distinct operations.

Event Prize Terms determine prize consequences. An external failure does not automatically extinguish an entitlement where applicable law or published terms require another outcome.

The versioned Privacy Policy explains how IronClad collects, uses, discloses, stores, retains and deletes personal information and how privacy requests are handled.

Privacy acknowledgement records that the identified notice was presented. It is not blanket consent and does not replace a separate consent required for an optional purpose.

IronClad uses necessary authentication and Steam-link technologies, limited Admin session storage, and a first-party browser preference used only to remember a visitor's optional analytics choice. IronClad does not load optional website analytics unless the visitor has deliberately selected “Allow analytics”. After that choice and once the feature is enabled, Vercel Web Analytics may measure approved public routes as described in the Privacy Policy. A visitor may decline or later withdraw analytics without losing normal IronClad functionality. IronClad does not deploy advertising pixels or a general consent-management platform.

IronClad uses reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure.

Every Effective Governing Document must have a version, effective date and stable version-specific URL. Its accepted content must not be materially overwritten under the same version.

Successful registration requires separate controls for:

1. Player Participation Agreement acceptance;
2. Rulebook acceptance;
3. Terms acceptance;
4. Privacy Policy acknowledgement;
5. the 18+ declaration; and
6. confirmation that the person is using their own IronClad Account and linked Steam account.

The trusted registration process creates one private, immutable record containing the registration, authenticated Clerk identity, database-owned timestamp, exact document identifiers, versions, URLs and SHA-256 hashes, and the required declarations. The browser does not control the authoritative version, URL, status or hash.

Privacy acknowledgement is recorded as acknowledgement, not blanket consent.

A new version requires renewed acceptance where it materially changes participation duties, eligibility, sanctions, User Content or media permissions, liability, dispute terms, privacy purposes or recipients, or another right or obligation relevant to an existing or new registration. A clerical correction that does not alter meaning may be published without renewed acceptance if law permits.

Continued browsing alone does not replace a required active acceptance.

Where a new Effective Terms or Privacy version requires renewed acceptance, an authenticated user must actively accept the Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before continuing normal authenticated use. Public browsing remains available. Optional analytics consent is separate from legal acceptance and is not required to create an Account, register for or participate in an Event, or use normal IronClad functionality.

The trusted acceptance process creates private, immutable evidence of the authenticated identity, database-owned time, exact Effective Terms and Privacy document facts, Terms acceptance and Privacy acknowledgement.

IronClad does not guarantee that every registration, Division, Event, opponent, Match, ranking, provider response or prize will occur.

Players remain responsible for compatible equipment, lawful access to Company of Heroes 3 and Steam, connectivity, account security and local replay copies during the applicable review period.

Third-party game, platform and provider services may change or fail outside IronClad's control. This does not excuse IronClad from exercising care required by law or honoring an express published commitment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies:

• a consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded;
• liability for fraud or wilful misconduct;
• liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where it cannot be excluded;
• a privacy, confidentiality or security obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded; or
• another liability that applicable law requires.

IronClad remains responsible to the extent required by law for its own failure to exercise required care or honor an express obligation.

To the extent permitted by law, a party is not responsible for loss caused by the other party's fraud, deliberate unlawful conduct, credential sharing, materially false information or material breach, or by an unavoidable external event where that party exercised reasonable care.

Indirect or consequential loss may be excluded only to the extent that exclusion is lawful, fair and consistent with applicable foreseeability principles.

These Terms impose no blanket user indemnity and no fixed monetary liability cap. Any future limitation must be introduced through a new version and remain subject to non-excludable rights and unfair-terms law.

A complaint may be sent to ironclad.tournaments@gmail.com. It should identify the relevant Account, Event or decision, the material facts and the requested outcome. It must not include passwords or authentication codes.

Where reasonable, the parties should first attempt good-faith written resolution.

Tournament review is separate from privacy, consumer, legal and regulatory complaint rights. A person may use a competent regulator, tribunal or court where applicable law permits.

These Terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law, consumer forum or local jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be displaced.

Nothing in this clause removes mandatory rights available under the law of a user's place of residence.

Operational notices may be provided through the Service, an in-app notification or the verified email associated with the Account.

A material Governing Document change should be notified through a durable channel reasonably likely to reach an affected user and must use renewed acceptance where section 22 or applicable law requires it.

Notices to IronClad may be sent to ironclad.tournaments@gmail.com unless another verified notice address is published in a later version.

Accounts and registrations are personal and non-transferable.

IronClad may transfer operation of the Service to a genuine successor only with appropriate notice and without reducing accrued or non-excludable rights. Any successor must be accurately identified.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it should be read down where lawful or severed only to the minimum extent necessary.

The applicable Governing Documents form the complete published agreement for their respective subjects.

Intellectual-property, evidence, Competition History, accrued-prize, liability and dispute provisions survive only for as long as reasonably necessary and lawful.

English is the controlling language of this version. A translation is informational unless separately identified as legally authoritative. Mandatory local-language rights remain unaffected.
